Remove yourself from junk mail lists and credit card offers.

I did this at the beginning of the year and my junk mail has gone to almost nothing.  No more credit card offers… nothing.  You may still get some local advertising, but it’s minimal.  After signing up, it took about a month and a half to propagate.  It’s worth it.
