Farnsworth House Flooded.

Thanks to Ike, Mies van der Rohe’s Farnsworth house is a bit wet. While the house is 5’3″ above the flood plane, the main floor has been flooded two times previously (1956 and 1996). The flood plane is the FEMA 500 year plane. Apparently 500 years is a lot shorter than we think.
